We’re just over 24 hours from the PNW Oppo Spring Cruise that starts at 11:00 PDT on 05/19 at the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! just outside Castle Rock, WA. Currently the weather is expected to be mostly sunny and around 64F (18C) for the start, with a high around 72F (22C) during the day and about a 10% chance of precipitation.

If you’d like to drive with others to the starting point, reply with your route and times so I can list them in this post.

On Saturday morning I plan to leave promptly at 07:30 from the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! lot just off I-405 in Bellevue, stop at the Tacoma Mall in the parking lot near !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! around 08:10, then leave promptly at 08:30 to continue on to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a stop at the Chevron in Castle Rock. Arrival at the Visitor Center is estimated to be around 10:00, allowing time to walk the trail/stretch and some time to check out the visitor center prior to the cruise.

Lower Mainland and Bellingham (CarsofFortLangley)

Cross into WA at about 5:30am into Blaine (with a full tank of 94). Hit the Chuckanut from Fairhaven to Edison then down the Bayview Edison Road to Highway 20.

Hwy 20 to I5 down to Castle Rock. Fill up in Tacoma, I5 down to Castle Rock, fill up again and then to the Visitor Centre.

Oregon City/Portland

I’ll be heading up I-205 from Oregon City. Planning to leave at 9-ish so I can have some time to unload my car from the trailer/wander around/stretch/relax/let the youngster run around before the cruise kicks off. (Tristan)

Going to be coming from Gresham going from I84 to 205 probably leaving around 9. (Doge_Supreme drives a BRZ)

Arrival at the Visitor Center is estimated to be around 10:00, allowing time to walk the trail/stretch and some time to check out the visitor center prior to the cruise.

My route plan:

I don’t think anyone would be willing to drive so far north only to drive back south, I will try to meet up with you in Tacoma (planning on fueling up at the Chevron on Pacfic Ave).

If I don’t make it to Krispy Kreme on time, I’ll meet you guys at the Visitor Centre. I’ll try to leave home as early as possible, but my wife is technically on call with the local PD until 5:30am.

We can coordinate through Discord, but if all goes well on that route and the border crossing goes smoothly, you should be able to get to Tacoma by 8:30 with a little to spare.

Speaking of coordination through discord, it’s a good idea to do a mic-check and functionality check to make sure everyone can use the voice function effectively. We should do that on Friday afternoon/evening at the latest so we don’t have any surprises spring up on us during the day.

Worst case, we’ll be at Tacoma for about 30 minutes to pick anyone else up (although I haven’t seen anyone mention that they’d join us there, so this might simply be to eat a fresh donut).

She has been eating cloth things to express her displeasure at being alone while i am at work. My comforter cover and sheets, the armrest cover. Not the important parts of things, so i know it is intentional destructive behavior.She is now restricted to the crate and hopefully a weekend of running around and some dietary advice from the vet will help sort things out. Kinda lame I am not able t9 attend but dog comes first.
